Rally With a Friend: Play Together on Roblox

Rally With a Friend by Porchlight Studios is described as a two-player, one-car experience. Decide who will drive and who will navigate before you join. The game listing assigns steering and throttle to the driver and the stage map and callouts to the navigator. Roblox Party is a platform feature for grouping with friends and joining games together. Its availability and chat options depend on Roblox account settings, age-related eligibility, and region. A Party can have up to six people, but this rally experience is described for two players; a larger Party is not a substitute for confirming the two teammates are together.

The two-player plan

Roblox Party is a platform feature for grouping with friends and joining games together. Its availability and chat options depend on Roblox account settings, age-related eligibility, and region. A Party can have up to six people, but this rally experience is described for two players; a larger Party is not a substitute for confirming the two teammates are together.

Start a Roblox Party

Roblox Support says you can start a Party from the Chat tab by choosing Start Party, selecting friends, and choosing Start. You can also open a friend or group chat and start from there. Only existing Roblox friends can be invited to a Party. Use the current Roblox interface because labels and entry points can change.

Before launching, agree which person will take each role. One player should keep attention on the road while the other reads the stage map and calls upcoming turns or hazards. These are the roles stated in the game's public description; Party itself does not choose or assign them.

Join the experience together

From an active Party, Roblox Support describes opening the Party menu, choosing Play, selecting a game, and using Join with Party. If Rally With a Friend appears in the available game picker, select it and wait for both players to arrive before beginning the run.

The public game description does not say whether Rally With a Friend implements Roblox's Party API or guarantees that every Party member enters the same server. If the group does not arrive together, check the visible Roblox join options and game access settings for both players. Do not assume the rally has a special invite code, private-server setting, or in-game Party menu.

Confirm both seats before starting

Once both players can see that they are in the experience, make a quick role check: name the driver, name the navigator, and agree on short directions. The official listing recommends voice chat but currently marks it as unsupported. Settle on a communication method that both players can actually use before the route starts.

Roblox Party's voice and text features depend on account settings and eligibility. Their presence in Roblox does not override the Rally With a Friend listing's current voice-chat status. Check the live Roblox pages if the platform changes these options.
